Jenks Middle School Honors Orchestra is an orchestra that is optional for all Jenks Middle School orchestra students. It's called an "honors" orchestra because it's designed for those who are doing well in orchestra and are looking for a little extra challenge and outlet for their playing. There is no audition requirement, so any 7th or 8th grader (and advanced 6th grader) can join. JMSHO: Summer Edition will meet from June 3-7 from 1:00-4:30 pm with a performance for parents at 4 pm on Friday.

At the concert, JMSHO students wear their JMSHO t-shirts (included when they sign up) and blue jeans.

Mr. Atkinson directs JMSHO with the occasional assistance of other Jenks Directors. JHS Orchestra students assist by leading sectionals and may get the opportunity to rehearse and conduct the entire group.
